Passive Solicitations
To solicit outside our retail stores,
groups registered as a charitable organization must have filled out a
request form
available from our District Managers. The District Managers then assign
these requests over two weekends per month,
and any single organization cannot have more than one event in any 12-month
period. Once all available weekends are
full, no more requests can be entertained.
Donation Box Programs
ANBL is proud to support charitable
organizations in our communities through programs such as the Donation
Box program.
Registered charities can apply to participate in the Donation Box program
which provides a passive method of
collecting funds from customer at store cash lanes.
This program is designed to cover all
corporate stores in the province but does not include privately operated
agency
outlets.
Only one donation box program will take
place in any two-week period, giving the charity exclusivity in-store.
Donation boxes are provided by ANBL. The
charity is responsible for providing bilingual signage.
ANBL will empty the donation boxes as
necessary during the program and deposit the money internally and
will bear the responsibility for the security of the boxes and the monies
collected.
Approximately six weeks after the end of
the program, ANBL will reconcile the collection and will forward a cheque
in the amount collected.
