A typical Bordeaux blend consists of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc for reds (otherwise known as Claret) and Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon and Muscadelle for whites.

Each year the New Brunswick Liquor Corporation supports and/or participates in a number of product related events across
the province. These events are organized and operated by the private sector and the number of events held fluctuates annually. 
Alcool NB Liquor is very proud to be a part of these festivals/events.

Information for these events will be provided at select Alcool NB Liquor stores across the province as they are made available by the various event organizers.

The charitable event calendar is full for 2008. We will be receiving submissions for the 2009 event calendar
December 1, 2008.

Feast in the Field 2008

CPA Feast in the FieldThe 8th annual Feast in the Field is organized by and in support of the Canadian Paraplegic Association (N.B.) Inc.

Supporters of Feast in the Field enjoy an afternoon of entertainment while experiencing the majestic scenery of the Holiday Inn Hotel & Resort Fredericton, sampling wine, beer and spirits from around the world, as well as delicacies prepared by Fredericton’s leading restaurants and chefs.

  • Date: Sunday, September 7, 2008.
  • Location: Holiday Inn Hotel & Resort Fredericton (Mactaquac).
  • 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Rain or Shine).
  • Complimentary transportation is provided by Trius Charter Bus Service. For shuttle information contact 462-9555. Tickets are available at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Resort and at the Canadian Paraplegic Association (N.B.) Inc. by

  • Tickets are $50.00 per person, tax included

The mission of the Canadian Paraplegic Association (N.B.) Inc. is to assist persons with spinal cord injuries and other
physical disabilities to achieve independence, self-reliance and full community participation. The priority is to reach out

available to people with other significant mobility impairments. The Canadian Paraplegic Association (N.B.) Inc. strives
to be inclusive by assisting people with related disabilities and are fully accessible to our economically, socially and

2008 World Wine & Food Expo

Whether you’ve just enjoyed your first glass of wine or are a seasoned wine expert, you won’t want to miss the largest wine
show in Atlantic Canada, held this year between November 1
st and 8th at Moncton’s Coliseum Complex. At the ever popular
and usually sold-out Grand Tasting sessions, you can sniff and sip your way through a selection of more than 350 wines,
most of which are available for the first time in New Brunswick.

When you find a wine you like, you can purchase immediately at the convenient on-site ANBL store.

The highlights of Wine Expo week are the Grand Tastings. When:
Grand Tasting 1: 1 PM on November 7th
Grand Tasting 2: 7 PM on November 7th
Grand Tasting 3: 1 PM on November 8th
Grand Tasting 4: 7 PM on November 8th

Where: Moncton Coliseum Complex (Entrance '0')
Price: $50 including HST.
